2 c. ketchup
1 T. liquid smoke
1/2 c. chopped onion*
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Bring all ingredients to a boil. I sometimes add 1/2 cup of water to the sauce to make it go a bit farther.
*Or dried minced onion. I prefer fresh onion but Chris isn't a big fan.



This is pretty much my recipe too. And we love it!! I IQF my meatballs and pull out what we need n pour sauce over it. In fact it's what we are having for supper.:)
